Royal HaskoningDHV’s celebrated Nereda wastewater treatment technology expands into China
We are excited to announce that we’ve entered into partnership with Royal HaskoningDHV of The Netherlands and Beijing Enterprises Industrial Environmental Solutions Limited (BEIES) for the delivery of the Nereda wastewater treatment technology into China. BEIES can now apply this state-of-the-art technology to its installations, ensuring it can effectively expand the capacity of its installations while meeting the highest standards for water quality.
The strategic agreement establishes that Beijing Enterprises Industrial Environmental Solutions Limited (BEIES), a subsidiary of Beijing Enterprise Water Group, will be the authorized user of the Nereda technology. This advanced wastewater treatment technology is owned by the Dutch engineering company Royal HaskoningDHV. Under the tripartite agreement, DHV (Beijing) Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. (BEEC), subsidiary of Century 3 (Shanghai) Inc., has been appointed as sales representative for the Nereda technology.
Mr. Xu, Deputy General Manager of BEIES said: “We have been following up Aerobic Granular Sludge technology for more than ten years. Nereda, which is owned by the prestigious company Royal HaskoningDHV, is the best of them. We understand that Nereda is proved to achieve organic waste and simultaneous nutrient removal in a considerable small footprint with very low energy and chemical consumption. By bringing Nereda into China and implementing successfully, we believe we will contribute to low carbon, environmental friend and sustainable development of China”.
